InterContinental Hotels Group brand launches Even for travelers ‘healthy’

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the launch of its eighth brand: EvenHotels. Thus IHG foray into the growing segment of health-conscious tourists covering upto 17 million people in America.

Hempell Christian, executive vice president of IHG, has reported that the hotels in thebrand new rooms will be equipped Even where there is space and tools for exercise,menus based on nutritional principles, and additional elements against bacteria.

«We know that brand hotels attract guests,» he assured Hempell. «That’s why big playersand segmented as IHG brands have been gaining market share, and is therefore alsocontinue to do so now,» he added.

According to information supplied to arecoa.com, Even brand will initially focus on the United States, in cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, New York, Washington, Seattle, Minneapolis and Austin. IHG will invest its own funds for brand development, estimated at U.S. $ 150 million.

IHG plans to have 100 Hotels Even from the first five years after its release. The establishment will have half between 100 and 200 rooms, according to the hotel. Even bethe first existing buildings, but does not rule IHG lift the medium term.

The other seven IHG brands are InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn,Holiday Inn Express,  Staybridge Suites,  Candlewood Suites and Priority Club Rewards.
